The Family Room is the Town of Laytonsville's "little shop around the corner". They are a coffee, ice cream and gift shop that's filled with tasty treats and unique gifts for your family & friends. Each item is thoughtfully curated by Mother and Daughter owners, Kim Glab & Corinne Sawyer.
The Family Room is all about community! They are home to a variety of Maryland Makers that supply them with beautiful gifts and locally sourced food for your family. They host Market Days for the community as well as workshops and events like their Friday night Cars & Cones event that draws in classic cars & motorcycles, food trucks, and fun for the family. They're the place in town where everybody knows your name and makes you feel like you're right at home.
