We hope you can join us for a short meeting of the Laytonsville Historical Center on Tuesday, May 29. We’ll discuss the matter of getting two plaques, one honoring Laura Turner, who passed away this year on February 26, and one honoring all the organization’s founding charter members. Also, we’ll discuss the changing look of the exhibits upstairs. Following the business portion of the meeting, we’ll have a Show & Tell session and light refreshments. Please bring something to show and a brief story to go with it. Your item does not have to relate to Laytonsville history. Past show and tell sessions have included such diverse items as a book about Richard Montgomery, unusual pieces from a sterling silver collection, and a special, collectible doll.
